Holiday Cheer(s) Guide: The Most Festive Craft Cocktails in San Diego

It wouldn’t be the season of holiday cheer without an actual “Cheers!” with your near and dear, right? In this ALX Living blog, we’re highlighting some of the most festive cocktails in San Diego that are worthy of a toast (or two) to the holiday season. Let’s get started…

Experiment #1 at Noble Experiment: Fancy, festive and full of flavor – this craft cocktail is made with apple brandy, mescal, wildflower honey, ginger, Douglas Fir and lemon. It almost looks too pretty to sip (almost!).

The Nonino Flip at Harvest by the Patio: This cocktail has been deemed “a hot recipe for the coldest months.” The ingredients for this unique concoction include Amaro Nonino, grilled pineapple, vanilla, lemon, honey, quail egg, and nutmeg…quite the lineup!

The NECRONOMINOG at Bar Kindred: Known as a vegan hotspot, Bar Kindred has put their unique spin on a the holiday classic eggnog that’s been blended with a mix of nut milks and creams, tropical fruit, exotic spices, and a few other “secret ingredients.” This cocktail is delicious and something you have to try to believe (and yes, it’s vegan).

Smokin’ in the Silent Theatre at Lionfish: This is the perfect pick-me-up for a lengthy night out on the town! Try this espresso-infused drink with El Silencio mezcal, Cappelletti Vino Apertivo, Cocchi Dopo Teatro Vermouth Amaro, and orange oil.

The Aperol Spritz at Fairweather: There’s something about this orange, Italian aperitif that gets us in the mood for some fun. The infusions of bitter and sweet orange and herbs (including rhubarb) make it an unexpected, yet enjoyable holiday beverage.
